Resumen

The present study was carried out at ACE Lab (UC Berkeley). Its objective was to analyze the innovation process in a laboratory for sustainable societies and the collaborative construction of knowledge using the experimentation ecosystems approach. A qualitative methodology was employed, by conducting a case study. The innovation components observed were: collaborators, interactions, activities, linked organizations, final products and dissemination of knowledge. It was concluded that the participation and interconnection of human talent, technology and innovation in education support the development of sustainable societies through the intervention of systematic processes of interdisciplinary ecosystems.
