She holds a degree in Business Studies (2011, USAL), a Master Degree in eLearning (2012, USAL), and a Master Degree in Design and management of technological projects by the International University of La Rioja (UNIR). In her pursuit of academic excellence, she recently completed an Interuniversity Master's Degree in Science, Technology, and Innovation Studies, with a focus on Science and Technology Policy and Citizen Participation (USAL, 2023) This advanced degree has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the intersection between science, technology, and society.
She has wide experience in organizing scientific events such as the International Conference Technological Ecosystems for Enhancing Multiculturality (TEEM) (http://teemconference.eu) since its first edition in 2013, promoting and nurturing cross-cultural collaboration and exchange of ideas in the academic community.
She is member of GRIAL Research Group since 2011 and she is currently a researcher and project manager in the GRIAL group. She has participated in several national and international research projects focused on diversity and inclusion such as GAMIGRATION (Gamified Values Education For Fostering Migrant Integration at Schools), CreaSTEAM (Co-thinking and Creation for STEAM diversity-gap reduction), W-STEM (Building the future of Latin America: engaging women into STEM)., INTO (Intercultural Mentoring tools to support migrant integration at school), E-EVALINTO (Evaluation environment for fostering intercultural mentoring tools and practices at school), STEMS (Supporting Teachers and Immigrant Students at School). She has also been involved in projects on open and informal education, evaluation and eLearning: OPENGAME (Promoting Open Education through Gamification), TRAILER (Tagging, Recognition and Acknowledgment of Informal Learning Experiences), VALS (Virtual Alliances for Learning Society), and in the External evaluation of the implementation and execution process of the Project for the Improvement of Higher Education in Costa Rica.
