Resumen

Recently, we have found an exponential growth in the practice of digital reading. There are several factors that have contributed to these practices them being the culture, technology and politics. As time passes more publishings are being made in digital format, electronic devices encourage the evolution of reading and readers are more receptive to this new form of consuming information.

Within this perspective a scenario has been established that makes it extremely necessary to promote, develop this type of reading literacy and to train the readers.  For the experiments to be successful and equitable among all the organizational structures state and private initiatives assume the role of supporters and advisors should be provided as this reader experience.

We intend to expose these communication paths outlined in the European environment, making emphasis in Spain. To achieve these goals and also highlight a success story in the creation of digital literature conducted by Fundación Germán Sanchez Ruipérez through the program "Territorio Ebook - Ebook y Biblioteca".
