Virtual Reality is becoming widespread in our society within very different areas, from industry to entertainment. It has many advantages in education as well, since it allows visualizing almost any object or going anywhere in a unique way. We will be focusing on medical education, and more specifically anatomy, where its use is especially interesting because it allows studying any structure of the human body by placing the user inside each one. It is thus a unique opportunity for exploring the human body as never before, stepping into the different spaces of the bone structure, or visualizing the functioning of the organs from inside. In this article specifically, Virtual Reality will be studied as a training tool in the anatomy of the human skull, implementing a Virtual Reality system that includes different functions that allow the user to study this bone structure following a different and innovative methodology.
